Jazz90.1 is pleased to present The Charlie Lindner Trio – performing live on Wednesday September 26 at 7 p.m. The band will perform live on Jazz90.1, and streaming live on jazz901.org as part of our Live Studio Concert Series. Musicians include Charlie Lindner on piano, Matt Ramerman on drums, and Kyle Vock on bass. Born in Rochester, NY, Charlie Lindner is a jazz pianist and electronic music producer active in the local and regional New York scene. Lindner performs his original compositions with drummer Mathew Ramerman and Upright Bass player Kyle Vock. Gravitating more towards fusion jazz, Lindner really enjoys the rhythm and blues style and incorporates many elements into his compositions. Past projects ranged from Progressive Rock (Derelict Brew, 1999), Fusion Jazz (The Move, 2003), Funk and Soul (Macro Meltdown 2008), and Live electronic Dance Music (The Manhattan Project, 2010). The Manhattan Project proved to be the most successful endeavor resulting in International tours and sharing the stages with big names such as The Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Bassnector, Big Gigantic, and many more! The Jazz90.1 Live Studio Concert Series features local jazz and blues musicians performing live from the Jazz90.1 studios each month.
