(This event has been canceled due to weather.) Jazz90.1 WGMC-FM is pleased to announce two free summer jazz concerts to be held on the grounds of Greece Olympia School – 1139 Maiden Lane. The series will include a performance by The Melody Masters Big Band on Tuesday July 27 (rain date will be 7/29,) The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn by the flagpole. There is plenty of free parking available, including handicap access. Masking will be required by attendees when social distancing is not possible.

The Melody Masters Big Band brings it on home with heart through fresh arrangements of classic big band standards. This 17-piece band honors the legends of Basie, Dorsey, Ellington, Miller, Sinatra, and many others with performances for schools, music festivals, community events, benefits, and business and social occasions throughout the greater Rochester, NY region.
