Otto Bruno has been the host of The Sunday Music Festa since January of 2000. He graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Cinema Studies and worked for about five years in the commercial and industrial film business. He’s currently a free lance writer and, as such, a regular contributor to “Fra Noi,” an Italian American publication published in Chicago, IL. A native and life-long resident of Western New York, he was born at the end of the Baby Boom and his interests range from the popular culture of his parents and siblings generations (1920s- 1950s) to that of his own childhood in the 1960s and 1970s. His show features the music of The Great American Songbook as performed by some of his favorite performers including Julius La Rosa, Dean Martin, Marlene Ver Planck, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Oscar Peterson, Bobby Darin, and Frank Sinatra. Otto has been married to the same wonderful woman for 20 years and they have three beautiful children. Hear Otto every Sunday afternoon on the Sunday Music Festa from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m., and on Sinatra and Co. from 2-3:30 p.m. on Jazz90.1. You can e-mail Otto at firstname.lastname@example.org.
