Otto Bruno has been the host of The Sunday Music Festa since the start of the millennium. He graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Cinema Studies and is currently a free lance writer. He published his first book in 2022 (available through Bear Manor Media https://bearmanor-digital.myshopify.com/) entitled, “Barney Miller and the Files of the Ol’ One-Two” about the classic 1970s TV show. He has finished his second book (a baseball book as yet unpublished) and is working on a third. He also teaches classes in popular culture subjects for Oasis (https://rochester.oasisnet.org/) and Jazz 90.1 University. A native and life-long resident of Western New York, his interests range from the popular culture of his parents and siblings generations (1920s- 1950s) to that of his own childhood in the 1960s and 1970s. His show features the music of The Great American Songbook as performed by some of his favorite performers including Julius La Rosa, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Count Basie, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra and more.
