Raised in Rochester, Scott is an R.I.T. alumni and has been working in the Information Technology field at various health care companies for the past 25 years. A lifelong music fan whose earliest music memories include the sounds of swing and big bands coming from his father’s workshop. Growing up on Sinatra, Basie, Miller and Goodman was the foundation that led Scott to start exploring all the other sub-genres of jazz and his love for jazz and local radio led him to reach out to Jazz 90.1 for volunteer opportunities. When not listening to Jazz 90.1 or going to local concerts you will probably find Scott spending time with his family, running the canal and the trails in and around Rochester, camping or enjoying a book. You can hear Scott every Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. on Jazz90.1.
