Eric Gruner served in many roles at Jazz90.1 before becoming the station’s General Manager. During his tenure, Eric was responsible for numerous projects that would enhance our listening area, including the addition of a second frequency on 105.1 FM to better serve the East Side of Rochester, and he would begin the lengthy and expensive process of a capitol project that would eventually see WGMC-FM move to 15,000 watts of power in 2004. Later, he returned briefly as the station’s afternoon drive host. In this episode of WGMC@50, Eric fondly remembers his time with WGMC-FM.
