Monday evening host Dan Gross has been a volunteer with Jazz90.1 since he was just 22 – and a recent grad of SUNY Oswego. During his time at the station, Dan has established himself as Rochester’s only legitimate music reporter – both recording artists and featuring them as part of The Rochester Indie Musician Spotlight and “Songs from Studio B” – which can be seen on News 8 in Rochester.
If that doesn’t keep him busy enough, he’s also a photojournalist at WROC-TV covering various news stories of the day.
Dan also hosts a program called “Bop Shop Live,” which can be heard every Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Jazz90.1. Dan Created this program to feature the countless musical acts that appear at Bop Shop Records in Rochester.
