We are heartbroken to announce that Jazz90.1 DJ Kim Corcoran has died.

She was 69 years old, and passed away on July 26.

Kim had been with Jazz90.1 for over ten years, and served as host of the popular “Two On The Aisle – Broadway At Its Best” program heard every Sunday afternoon.

Born in Kendall, New York, Kim spent over 30 years living in Manhattan, where she developed her deep love of Broadway.

Kim was a tutor for over 34 years, and eventually retired taking up her many passions, including bicycling, exercising, writing and enjoying life any way that she could. She moved back to Kendall into her childhood home, and became active in her community – including part of The Kendall Lawn Chair Ladies. Kim’s bike travels took her all over New York State and The Finger Lakes – and she would spend weeks on the road each summer.

In fact – she was scheduled to venture on another long bike trip this month.

Kim is survived by her two children – Bellisant and Wolfgang, and friends from all corners of our community.

“We are heartbroken with the loss of Kim,” said Station Manager Rob Linton. “She was not just a DJ – but she was a friend to everyone on and off the air. Her smile and amazing personality made any interaction with her such a joy. Her light and passion for Broadway music will always be remembered. Kim brought joy to thousands of people each week. We will miss her deeply.”

Jazz90.1 will continue airing “best of” Two On The Aisle shows through the end of 2024 in Kim’s honor. Her family has requested privacy during this time, but we will pass along any public arrangements here.
