Jazz90.1 is pleased to present a Smooth Saxy Holiday Bash to benefit the station, rounding out our 50th anniversary year.
The holiday concert will take place on Friday December 13 at 7 p.m. at Greece Olympia School. The evening will feature Rochester Music Hall of Fame inductee and saxophonist Bill Tiberio, Grammy nominated and award-winning saxophonist Jimmie Highsmith Jr., plus Bakari Smith – an exciting young singer and saxophonist.
It’ll be a night of amazing smooth jazz with a twist of Christmas music.
These three will be backed by a powerhouse band of some of the areas finest musicians.
Tickets are $25.00 each (general admission seating,) and $35.00 each (reserved front row seating,) and will go on sale on September 9.
The performance will take place in The Greece Olympia School auditorium. There is plenty of free parking, and the venue is handicap accessible.
*No alcohol, tobacco or vaping is permitted on school grounds as per State Law. Light refreshments will be available for sale that evening. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
