Jazz90.1 is saddened to learn that Rochester music icon Jon Seiger passed away on Friday September 13. Jon was a friend and mentor to many – including all of us at Jazz90.1. He performed around the world, but Rochester was his home. You could find him performing locally quite often.
Jon performed as part of Jazz90.1 events through the years, including our Live Studio Concert Series, our Jazz on The Lawn Series, and our Greece Baptist Church Series.
On Tuesday September 24 at 7 p.m., we will re-broadcast a live recording from November 2019, when Jon performed as part of our Live Studio Concert Series. You can hear the performance on 90.1 FM, and streaming via our website.
