Jazz90.1 WGMC-FM is excited to announce that Dawn Kellogg will join the station as its new Broadway host in January.
Dawn will step into the stations already successful “Two On The Aisle – Broadway at Its Best” program, following the untimely passing of Kim Corcoran this summer. The show – which has been on the station for nearly ten years – features classic Broadway and off Broadway music and history.
Kellogg graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and received her Masters Degree and in Vocal Performance from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana. After starting her Doctoral work there, she was awarded a Rotary Foundation Scholarship to study in London and received a Post-Graduate Diploma from Trinity College of Music.
For 12 years, she was the Marketing Director and Associate Producer for CV Productions Ltd in London, producing national tours, repertory seasons, and pantomime. She returned to her native US in 2006 as Marketing and Education Director for A Noise Within, a classical repertory theatre company in Los Angeles, before returning in 2007 to her hometown of Rochester to become Geva Theatre Center’s Communication Manager – a position she held until 2020. Since 2021, she has been the Public Relations and Community Engagement Specialist for The Summit Federal Credit Union.
“We are so excited to welcome Dawn to our volunteer staff, as she brings with her a wealth of knowledge, and a deep passion for Broadway music,” said Station Manager Rob Linton. “Our listeners will be treated to a magical musical journey and front row seat each week.”
“I am very excited to carry on “Two on the Aisle” on Jazz90.1, and I look forward to sharing my love of musical theatre with our listeners. Together, we’ll revisit the classics and explore some of the new musicals that are being created for both Broadway and the West End,” said Kellogg.
Two on The Aisle – Broadway At Its Best can be heard every Sunday from 3-5 p.m. on Jazz90.1 and worldwide via our website.
