Jazz90.1 WGMC-FM is pleased to announce three free summer jazz concerts to be held on the grounds of Greece Olympia School – 1139 Maiden Lane. The series will include performances by The Greece Jazz Band on Monday June 18, Jon Seiger and The All-Stars on Wednesday July 11, and Swing Dynasty on Tuesday August 21. All three concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. The Greece Jazz Band has been performing in the greater Rochester area since 1997, this volunteer big band has developed a varied repertoire of familiar standards, dance tunes, and modern high-energy jazz charts. The band’s growing performance schedule includes holiday concerts at area malls, several dance nights, numerous summer festivals and events. **Concerts will be moved indoors to the air conditioned Greece Olympia auditorium if weather doesn’t allow for an outdoor performance.**
