Jazz90.1 WGMC-FM is pleased to announce two free summer jazz concerts to be held on the grounds of Greece Olympia School – 1139 Maiden Lane. The series will include a performance by The Melody Masters Big Band on Tuesday September 14 at 6 p.m. The concert takes place on the lawn by the flagpole, and will be moved indoors to the Olympia auditorium in the event of rain. There is plenty of free parking available, including handicap access. Masking will be required by attendees when social distancing is not possible.

The Melody Masters Big Band engages music-loving audiences at festivals, private and community events, and schools in the Rochester region. Melody masters musicians are avid performers with diverse careers and experience – some with professional training in music. The 17-piece band brings it home with heart while performing high-quality classic repertoire, including fresh arrangements from legends like Basie, Dorsey, Ellington and more.
