Jazz90.1 (WGMC-FM) and Greece Community Broadcasting Inc. will present performances by Bill Schmitt and The Bluesmasters and Hanna PK on Saturday February 29, as part of its annual Mardi Gras celebration. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at Barnard Restaurant and Party House located at 360 Maiden Lane in Rochester. Admission is $35.00 per person, and includes a New Orleans themed dinner buffet, cash bar, Mardi Gras costume contest, raffles, and a live blues concert featuring two bands. Jazz90.1 is one of the last 24/7/365 jazz stations in the country, and celebrated its 46^th year on the air in November. This event celebrates the station’s rich musical offering and service to our community. Proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit Jazz90.1 – which must raise all operating funds annually through pledge drives and special events.
