Rochester Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The Rochester Music Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2018 inductees, who are among the country’s most celebrated musicians and composers. The seventh annual induction ceremony of the Rochester Music Hall of Fame will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 22 at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theater. Jazz90.1 Jazz Cruise ft. The Smugtown Stompers
The Jazz90.1 jazz cruise featuring The Smugtown Stompers takes place Monday June 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Cruise departs aboard The Colonial Belle in Fairport, and sails from Fairport to Schoen Place in Pittsford and back. Lake Street Dive will perform at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival on June 28. Lake Street Dive is a multigenre band that was founded in 2004 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band consists of Rachael Price (lead vocals), Mike "McDuck" Olson (trumpet, guitar), Bridget Kearney (upright bass), and Mike Calabrese (drums). They met while attending the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.
