Kyle Jameson is host of The Breeze every Saturday night from 11 pm – 2 am on Jazz90.1.
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Kyle was exposed to the late 70s-early 80s Atlanta jazz scene at an young age, leading to a passion for performing drums and piano, collecting music, and to a fascination with radio. Kyle listened to a nightly “jazz fusion” show called Jazz Flavours on Atlanta’s 94Q from 1978-1989. It’s that musical upbringing that spurred him at a young age to begin collecting vinyls. Today, Kyle Jameson owns an immense archive of LPs & CDs of jazz-fusion related material, much of which is long out of print and lost to time. A lot of his collection also includes more recent and premier artists along with the retro.
The Breeze on Jazz90.1 is a “best-of-the-best” program, which showcases countless classic, rare gems of instrumental/vocal fusion related material from the 70s, 80s and 90s eras, as well as forthcoming artists. Join Kyle Jameson on Saturday nights for a breath of fresh air on The Breeze!
